# Firmium

> Business intelligence API for European companies, deepest in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Search, monitor, and analyze companies using data from official business registries, financial filings, and news. Every field is sourced from the responsible official registry.

Base URL: `https://www.firmium.de/api/v1`
Authentication: `Authorization: Bearer <token>`

Search covers official registries in `DE`, `AT`, `CH`, and additional countries (`BE`, `CY`, `CZ`, `EE`, `ES`, `FI`, `FR`, `GB`, `GR`, `LT`, `LV`, `MT`, `NO`, `PL`, `PT`, `RO`, `RS`, `SE`, `SI`, `SK`). Available fields depend on what each national registry publishes. Master data (name, registration number, legal form, status, address) is the common baseline. Officers, shareholders, publications, and financial statements are not guaranteed for any given country — some registries mask officer names by law, and some publish financials only against a fee. Query the data rather than assuming a field is present. Which countries a token may search is determined by its subscription plan. Anonymous requests are not restricted by country. The published OpenAPI spec currently documents company search and the base company profile. Broader company intelligence (financials, management, shareholders, network, changes, prospecting, monitoring) is available through the MCP server.

Public company and person pages support content negotiation. Request `Accept: text/markdown` to receive structured markdown instead of HTML.
